Tripura Government Distributed 479 Appointment Letters, Boosting Employment Opportunities

In a major push towards transparent recruitment and employment generation, the Tripura government distributed 479 appointment letters across various departments during a special event held at Rabindra Shatabarshiki Bhavan, Agartala.

Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha addressed the gathering, reaffirming his government’s commitment to maintaining transparency and merit-based recruitment. Highlighting the state’s achievements, Dr. Saha emphasized that the recruitment process closely follows the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who advocates for fairness and transparency in hiring.

The distributed appointment letters covered:

126 posts of Child Development Project Officer (CDPO) and ICDS Supervisor under the Social Welfare and Social Education Department,

197 posts of Junior Engineer (Public Works Department),

156 posts of Assistant Manager, Cash-cum-General Clerk, and Multi-Tasking Staff in the Tripura State Co-operative Bank Limited.

Speaking at the event, the Chief Minister proudly shared that since 2018-19, the government has provided 16,942 jobs, marking a significant milestone. Notably, in the year 2025 alone, 3,296 government jobs were offered, including 2,437 Group-D employees recruited through JRBT. Additionally, 5,771 contractual and outsourced jobs were provided during this period.



Dr. Saha also addressed the opposition’s criticism regarding unemployment, stating that Tripura has witnessed a significant decline in the unemployment rate over the past few years. He urged the newly appointed employees to dedicate themselves to public welfare and uphold the spirit of service.
