The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) has released the provisional answer key for the WBJEE 2025 examination on May 9. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now access the answer key on the official website — wbjeeb.nic.in — and evaluate their performance.

This crucial step allows students to estimate their scores before the official results and to challenge any discrepancies they notice in the provided WBJEE 2025 Answer Key.

How to Download WBJEE 2025 Answer Key:

Follow these simple steps to view and download your answer key:

  1. Visit the official WBJEE website: wbjeeb.nic.in
  2. Click on the ‘Examinations’ tab and select WBJEE.
  3. Under the Candidate Activity Board, click on Model Answer Key – View and Challenge for WBJEE 2025 Answer Key.
  4. Log in using your application number and password.
  5. Download the PDF of the answer key for reference.

Last Date to Raise Objections:

Candidates can challenge the provisional answer key till 11 May 2025. For each question challenged, a non-refundable fee of ₹500 must be paid online.

Steps to Raise Objections:

  • Click on the “Challenge Answer Key” option after logging in.
  • Select the specific question you want to challenge.
  • Provide relevant supporting documents or proof if necessary.
  • Pay the fee and submit your objection.

Note: Once the final answer key is released after reviewing all objections, no further challenges will be accepted. The final merit list and ranks will be based on this updated key.

How to Calculate Your WBJEE 2025 Score:

Use the following formula to estimate your marks:

Total Marks = (Number of Correct Answers × Full Marks) – (Number of Incorrect Answers × Negative Marks)
