CBSE Class 10 12 Results 2025: Expected Mid-May Release; 42 Lakh Students Await Scores
The countdown has begun for CBSE Class 10 12 results! Over 42 lakh students who appeared for the CBSE Class 10 and 12 board exams 2025 are eagerly waiting for their results. The exams, conducted between February 15 and April 4, saw 24.12 lakh students take the Class 10 exams across 84 subjects, while 17.88 lakh students appeared for Class 12 exams in 120 subjects.
Following CBSE’s usual pattern, results are expected to be declared by mid-May 2025 — likely between May 12 and May 15. Students are advised to regularly check the official websites — cbse.gov.in, cbseresults.nic.in, and results.cbse.nic.in — for updates.
Looking back, the CBSE Class 12 results in 2024 saw an overall pass percentage of 87.33%, with Trivandrum topping the charts at 99.91%. Girls outshined boys with a 90.68% pass rate, while boys recorded 84.67%. Students need a minimum of 33% marks in each subject to pass, and CBSE may grant grace marks to those who fall short by a narrow margin.
Adding to the big changes in education, Maharashtra’s Education Minister Dada Bhuse announced that the CBSE curriculum would be fully adopted in the state up to Class 12 by 2028, starting with Class 1 from 2025.
